Exams are over! Finally. It seems like I have been cooped up inside for ages just staring at notes and computer screens. Right after the final paper I went around to see Airdrie (Joolz by Airdrie) over at Insert Name here (Georges on Collins), she has a couple of really cool designers joining the store (Eva Q and Hamish of T Shirt Garage). They were preparing for Hamish's welcome event and I got roped into shooting my very first runway! Tons of fun with all the models and waiting for guests to arrive! After wards walked to Fitzroy, got yelled at by druggies, met another awesome designer whom I'll be collaborating with early next year. Our shoot for tomorrow is unfortunately postponed due to immensely crummy weather but definitely looking to some exciting new looks next year

I will be traveling soon and returning to Melbourne in February. Will be (or trying to be) updating the Blog with new photos and shoots and hopefully interesting tidbits. So hop on by!

I think my subscription to dA is also running out soon. Will definitely miss it I liked doing image features and various other things so this will probably be the last time everything looks pretty on the page.

So here are some new updates. There's a lot more coming, so do stay tuned in! I'm currently finishing last assignments and preparing for exams. It's likely I'll be returning home for a bit after, and then back to Melbourne for summer school (hah!) so that may yield more opportunities for shoots.

Did I mention the BLOG? Yes, I must have, but here it is again. I don't understand the twitter thing and feel a little too self conscious to have a fan page on facebook, so instead I opted for a blog. I've missed writing anyways and this fulfills all my little egotistical fancies.

He did not mean to be bad. He really didn't. But he must have been because all little boys were bad. His mother told him so. He really wished he wasn't however, but he was so so hungry then there was a dull ache in his stomach (as there were almost every day) and he was sitting by the side of the road and looking rather sorry for himself (which he is sure now is bad in itself) so when the nice looking lady passing by came smiling to him and gave him an apple he was too pleased. He almost took a big bite then and there but he remembered his mother sitting alone at home and thought that maybe, just maybe she would like a bite of the apple too so he set off home. He stood with a small smile on his face as he pressed the shining red object in her hands and realized too late the grim lines at her mouth. And when the heavy buckle came down, he did not turn to great gulping howls as little boys are wont to do, instead he stood with his eyes closed and little fists clenched until everything turned dark.
Now he stood at the little corner, staring down at the grey dust that had gathered over the years, and he chided himself before his mind took their leavings and thought of little faraway worlds sparkling just at the corner of his eye if he tilted his head to the side looking down, just so, and wished he wasn't quite so bad.

Starting tomorrow I'm shooting everyday for the next two weeks (with a rather annoying essay in the middle) - Beauty shoots, Fashion editorials, and an extremely exciting concept one...woohoo.
